Since Wrigley was born, I’ve been taking a lot of pictures (um, hello cute baby alert, obviously I’m taking a ton)! We really wanted to hire a photographer to take newborn pictures of her, but we just couldn’t afford one at the time, so I decided to try and take them myself.
I really enjoyed it (not just because it was my baby)! I did a lot of research on poses and angles and sure there was a lot more for me to learn, but I felt a spark ignite within me and felt like I needed to pursue this.
Fast forward a few months and one of my best friends had a baby and asked if I wouldn’t mind taking some newborn pictures of him. The rest is history, I was hooked! After seeing how much I improved, I realized I wanted to take his hobby to the next level.
My goal is to freeze time for couples/families. I want to specialize in lifestyle photography for families in addition to newborn and family portraits. My real passion is the candid shots. I want to take pictures of your everyday life, those are the ones I know that I cherish most. I love the family pictures when I was little, but the ones I really love are the ones that show me playing in my room with my favorite toys or playing in the kiddie pool in the backyard and the dog jumping in with me. Those are the pictures that save the memories of that season of life and I’d love to capture that for you!
