Top 5 Pregnancy Purchases

These are the top 5 things that I bought that made pregnancy much more enjoyable!

Amazon – Full Body Pregnancy Pillow $52.99

At some point in pregnancy you’ll have a hard time sleeping, especially towards the end. This pillow is a life saver! It does take up a lot of space (especially if you have a queen size mattress), but it’s a sacrifice you and you’re partner are going to have to make if you want to get in some good z’s.

Target – Nursing Sleep Bra $18.99

Especially in the beginning when your boobs ACHE from how much they are growing, this will help you sleep much better (it helps keeps the girls in place when you’re tossing and turning throughout the night). Plus if you plan on breastfeeding it’s the perfect night time or lounge around the house bra to make it easier for feedings.

Target – Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter $12.99

Say that name 5 times fast! I started applying this belly butter around 12 weeks when I started to notice my belly grow. Since then I apply it at least once daily all over my belly and my boobs. I’ve gone through two containers during this pregnancy so it’s not an every month type of purchase.

Motherhood Maternity Leggings $34.98

Invest in some good leggings and pants (obviously depending on the time of year that you are pregnant). Always search for coupons. Sign up for Motherhood Maternity e-mails (you will get a lot of them, but it’s worth it in how much you save). For example, those leggings are typically $34.98 but right now are only $19.97. I have lived in these leggings both the long and cropped. You’ll discover what type of fit you like whether the secret belly (over the belly) or under belly. I personally like the over the belly better.

Amazon – Yeti Rambler Tumbler 30oz $30

THIS. You need to drink a lot of water when you’re pregnant and even more if you’re going to breastfeed, so invest in a good water bottle. We got these before I was pregnant, however if we hadn’t it would have been my first purchase. Especially living in AZ when the summers get up to 120 degrees outside, I can leave my Yeti in my car with ice water for hours and come back to still COLD water. It’s magical. Plus you get can them in fun colors!
