Design Inspiration

Ryan and I have very different taste, but as the years have gone by we have learned how to blend our tastes together. It just so happens that our blended taste matches that of HGTV’s Fixer Upper (and my favorite TV show!). I love the traditional wood, exposed brick, vintage look. Ryan loves the rod iron, straight line, modern look.
I am hoping to be able to incorporate a lot of that rustic and modern farmhouse style into our new home! However, we are not on a TV show nor do we have a bank account that will allow us to furnish and decorate a new home immediately. We have to use what we have and money from some of the furniture we have sold to help spruce up our new home. Bargain buys and thrift shops are also key!
I am doing this design inspiration post to show you the look I am hoping to achieve in our house. Once we are in the house for a little while, I want to share pictures of some of the rooms that were based from these inspiration pictures and exactly how much it cost to achieve that look… I guarantee you will be able to make it happen too! Decorating and DIY’ing on a budget IS possible!
